Mr. Bill stopped by YHC to talk the upcoming Semo Con at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff on September 14th-16th. The weekend will be filled with fun including over 150 booths including gaming, comics, collectibles and cosplay contests!
The 3rd Annual ‘Grille It Up’ is Saturday starting at 8am at the East City Park! There will be a car show, cook off and mud volleyball tournament! There will also be bounce houses, mechanical bull, live music, beer garden, craft vendors, event vendors, helicopter rides, food and much more! Grille It Up kicks off Friday night, July 13th, with the Dash and Splash 5K at 6 p.m. at East Park in Dexter. The event, which includes a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile walk, will help kick off the Dexter Parks and Recreation Department’s “Grille It Up” and will raise funds for the Student Success Fund at Three Rivers College – Dexter. Following the run/walk, participants and their children can lounge in the city pool until 7:30 p.m. Strollers are welcome in the run/walk! If you want to participate without breaking a sweat, sign up as a “virtual runner.” Registration fee for the 5K run/walk, 1-mile walk, or virtual runner is $25. The race begins at 6 p.m.; same day registration begins at 5 p.m.
